Bike Rodeo

Well, if we can't go the local fair and rodeo, this is the next best thing: The Kwaj Bike Rodeo. The police offered free safety check on the bikes, and in lieu of carnival rides there was an bicycle obstacle course. Better make sure you know your hand signals...which our kids are still learning. Free goody bags, snow cones, and prizes.

Very, very hot day, and a long, long line for the bike safety check!

Maegan's highlight of the day was to meet the Police K-9 dog!

Our friends Kim and Jack Martindale.

Ella Martindale and her smile!

Maegan patiently waiting in line for her bicycle safety check.

Now it's time for another line for the bike obstacle course! Behind the family is the food court,
which includes Subway, Burger King, and Anthony's Pizza.

Mason concentrating on memorizing the hand signals.

Nice long line and very, very hot. I mentioned that already, didn't I?

Police officer reviewing bicycle safety with Mason.

Are you ready?

Maegan's turn.

And she's off...after her high-heeled flip flop fell off and she had to re-start!
She's riding her new aluminum bike we had shipped from Wal-Mart.com.

She looks so innocent. Misty Moonlight in trouble again!
She just loves stealing the stuffed animals from the kids' rooms.

This is the scar that remains from Mason's scalp injury.
